The 31st annual Calgary Women's Run will take place at 9:00 a.m. this Sunday, leaving from Shouldice Pool and heading east along the Bow River pathways.

The flat, fast race courses include a 10k run, a 5k run, and a 5k run / walk. Online entry is open until Friday morning at www.calgarywomensrun.eventbrite.com, or you can register at race package pick-up at the Tech Shop on 4th Street, Friday, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. or Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The organizers thank their generous sponsors (the Calgary Road Runners, Asics, the Tech Shop, Bikini Boot Camp, Cadence Chiropractic, Bow Cycle, and Lululemon) and tireless volunteers, saying they are able to donate over ten dollars from every race entry to the Women's Emergency Shelter. "Come on out and support the longest-running women's race in Canada!" says Race Director Jenny Godley.
